Welcome To Life Recovery Group
The Life Recovery Group is a Christian recovery community supporting people who have been affected either directly or indirectly by substance misuse, mental health problems or compulsive behaviour.
Our group meetings are a safe place for those who often feel misunderstood, and who struggle to connect with God and maintain recovery in mainstream church.
We meet to grow in our faith, share our stories, apply the bible to life, pray together and to belong to a non-judgemental supportive community.
LRG has a small team available to meet during the week for one-to-one support where appropriate and we encourage members to belong to a local church, get recovery support through specialist agencies and 12 step groups.

Our History
Life Recovery Group was started as a small group within Woodlands church as a cross-church initiate in 2008. It grown and evolved over the years and a second group started in 2015. It has formally partnered with partnered with Crisis Centre Ministries since 2014 due to the crossover of staff and members involved with the LIFE course.
